Review on Oneida 2865020B 20 Piece Stainless Flatware by Julian Davidson

I bought 8 pieces of this set in 1996. 18 years later. Now we have four children and a family of 6 people. We are still using our original set and they are still in great condition. I feel great about keeping them, cleaning them well, etc. Now that our family has grown so much, it's only recently that I've realized we're always running low, so I bought these 20 to complete our set add to. I don't know why there are negative reviews about this cookware set. There are a few differences from our 1996 version, but I see these changes as an improvement. Butter knives are now a single piece of metal, while our original knives are actually two pieces. Butter knife handle isn't as thick as our original knives, but I don't see that as a problem. Knives, old or new, are still a joy to hold. If I had to decide which knife I like better, I would say the new version. One piece of metal instead of two will last even longer. This design is simple but elegant. 18 years old and getting stronger. What is there to complain about! We liked them so much we returned for more.
