So let me start by saying that I know next to nothing about sewing and bought this cute little thing on a whim before flying home knowing I was in the mandatory quarantine would be put into two weeks. The fabrics I used on this machine were: Flannel, Sherpa, Cotton, Sweatshirt, very heavyweight cotton sweatshirt material. I have to say it is holding up very well. I haven't broken the needle yet and as long as you can put your fabric under the presser foot I haven't had any problems. What I want to emphasize is that the machine is very small. I bought it without looking at its dimensions, but it's about the size of a Starbucks Venti cup. I'm not saying it's bad, I just didn't expect it. You cannot change the sewing foot either and it can only sew straight stitches. I've made large blankets, corsets, and dresses on it with no problem, but in the future I'll be looking for something with more features. Overall I just love this car. It works great and can handle a lot more than I thought it could. Highly recommended for beginners, kids and anyone who wants to have fun without spending more than $50.
