This was my first and last cross-stitch stocking. I prefer stockings with appliqués, but my daughter wanted these, so I decided to give it a try. It was so hard. My eyesight isn't the best and it was very difficult to tell which little symbol on the chart was which when they were the same color. Also, it was a bit strange what color was used in the table. For example, a blue line was embroidered in green and a green line was embroidered in blue. As I said, this was my first cross-stitch stocking, so for those with more cross-stitch experience, this pattern may not seem as complicated as it did to me. The stocking is a beautiful stocking and I was happy with the materials provided. I'm glad I finally finished the project and I think my daughter will be very happy with the finished stocking.
