Review on 🔵 Weller MS54VN Xcelite Semi-flush Oval Head Cutter in Blue - Premium Precision Cutting Tool by Scott Channell

This review is based on a Revain Vine product. I know the Weller brand soldering irons but didn't realize they make other tools. ideal for small wires (minimum tens of gauge). There is a good spring to hold the scissors open and a stop to prevent them from opening too far. The handles are comfortable to hold and the rubber is non-slip. Surprisingly, the packaging says they are not electrically insulated. They precisely cut solid and stranded wire as well as insulation. They are ESD protected, which is very handy when using them with precision electronics. The prices correspond to those of similar products from large hardware stores. My pattern is not exactly the same as in the photo. There is no visible screw in the hinge. The handles are light blue rather than slightly green as shown in the picture. I do not consider any of these product changes to be critical. These cutters will be a great addition to my toolbox and I will keep an eye out for other Weller hand tools when purchasing in the future.
