purchased; tried to burn M-Disc. It took a few hours and then said the verification failed even though the disk was fine (I didn't verify every file!). This was on a Mac which the seller says works. I've tried updating the firmware and getting Pioneer's Mac "Drive Utility Lite" but that doesn't help. Apparently for Mac you have to buy separate software for another $110 or so. I then tried it out on a Windows 10 machine using the included clunky but useful "Cyberlink Media Suite". This failed again. Pioneer technical support asked if I was using an approved branded disc - the list is in small print. They said other brands might work but only at slower speeds. So I tried 2X instead of 4X - and it worked! You should really disclose all these restrictions upfront. But if you find and follow all the little rules, it seems to work. It scores with its very compact, light and thin design; and it actually seems to work; and the Pioneer support was pretty good.
