1/30th the price of my previous designer prescription reading glasses! No problem

About a year ago I finally broke down and went to one of the eyewear stores for a professional eye exam and to buy prescription reading glasses. As it turns out, my eyes were pretty consistent. One eye needed a 2.0 correction and the other 2.25, making the usual over-the-counter scams eligible. Instead, I went ahead and bought designer eyewear and the total bill, even with my eye insurance plan, still cost me over $300! Without it it would cost around $500! This is perhaps the biggest legal scam out there, even more so than the cost of prescription versus generic drugs. It's all because an Italian company, I'm not sure what to call it, bought up all the eye care chains and even the sunglass stores and the rights to the designer names for the glasses, so your glasses aren't really designed that way Called design house, but all by the same manufacturer, made in the same offshore countries, which only gives the illusion of exclusivity and quality. But back to these points. They have arrived and I have to say that I really like them, especially in terms of value for money. They even have a higher quality hinge that allows for more outward flex. The weight of the frame is solid and it looks solid. Material - glossy plastic, pleasant in my opinion. At about 1/30th the price of my designer reading glasses, these are an easy choice. Both of my lenses have a 2.0 correction, contrary to my slightly different prescription for each eye, but in reality the result is almost imperceptible. Strongest recommendation. Especially in times of increased caution and thrift, you don't have to fall into price gouging and the illusion of quality and exclusivity.
