I threw away the hangers I used to use and bought them at the big orange national store. Weak and flimsy construction. The KLJ hangers looked good on paper, so I ordered them and used them to hang my broom and dustpan in my entryway closet. I was immediately struck by the heavy steel construction and the strength of the holder itself. In fact, I was wondering if it would be too strong. They also have a rubber bumper so the handle doesn't hit the wall when inserted. Nice gesture! (pun intended) There are no studs in the cabinet wall so I had to use drywall anchors. The KLJ includes anchors and chrome caps that I have never seen before. Looks good but the anchors themselves looked a little small so I opted for anchors with #12 screws which hold them like a rock. Looks very good. Ease of installation. Easy to use and appear to be much more durable than those you find locally. A firm hold without slipping, which is a first for me. They are designed to fit a "regular size" broomstick. That said, don't try to shove anything like a crayon up your jaw. Definitely recommended and while I got them to review I will be buying more for the garage.
