Climb around corners

So it's a good vinyl. Only use on single pane windows. DO NOT use on double glazed windows. Also, it's vinyl, so it scratches. I was happy with the installation, the quality seems much better than others I've tried. The problem is that after a few days the corners started to rise. I took every precaution during installation. I've tried fixing the corners to no avail. eventually got frustrated and removed the foil as the corners continued to go up. I'm not sure if it was operator error, but there was no way I could touch all the corners.
