I'm so glad I ordered this magnetic knife holder. My drawers were full, and even though I have plastic cases for all my knives, I just didn't like putting my hands in the drawer they were kept in; but I didn't want the block to take up space on my counter. This gave the perfect solution. I've attached it to the wall next to the stove and counter where I put everything I need and I'm glad everything I need is within easy reach and my drawers now have room for things that are there should. It was easy to install even for me who has arthritis in my hand. Please read the instructions carefully and follow them closely when removing the backing sheet as they are not joking when they say the magnet is strong and will pinch your fingers or skin. No matter how careful I was, I still got my finger caught and OUI! It contains all 8 of my planing/cutting knives plus two small paring knives and a pair of pliers. Before assembly, always ensure that there is enough space above and below the holder for the length of the knives. not happy with how heavier knives cause the holder to fall on this side. Instead of frequency of use, spacing between knives by weight would be required, so I gave up that choice. Warning: putting it on the fridge will leave marks on the metal side, but I managed to remove it with my elbow and Bon Ami. If you have a stainless steel fridge, this might not be a good idea.
