Cool Railing: Building Materials
This railing is very similar to the original 43 year old wrought iron railing in my house. It was very easy to install. The railing is solid and the brackets sit perfectly on the 4-step stair cleats. I used two #12 2.5" wood screws and .25" trim washers and spray painted them black before hanging the railing. This 3" handrail from Kenosha is very secure and looks great.
