Did a great job, diagnostic tool went well x431

I worked as a technician for a few years and opened my workshop this year. Choosing an advanced diagnostic device is an important step for me. I have seen all types of scanners in my career from basic code readers to $5000 scanners and I have to say the X431 PAD3 is fantastic! I have used AUTEL MK908P before which is also a great diagnostic tool and to my surprise this tool has all the features of AUTEL and runs smoother and even much better. Since starting my business I have tested many vehicles with this scanner ranging from a 2005 Ford 150 to a 2016 Mercedes-Benz S Class and none of them could be diagnosed with this scanner. It is equipped with OE level features. It includes full system diagnostics, active tests, ECU coding, online coding, 50+ reset functions and more. which surprises me a lot. I've used it for coding and programming with no problems. Detailed on-screen instructions let me know exactly what to do next. The full-size 10.1-inch high-resolution touchscreen greatly simplifies the user experience. This fully meets my expectations. The incredible battery performance further underlines its capabilities. Not to mention the many service reset functions like reset TPMS/Oil/IMMO/Airbag/Gas/Injector coding. It becomes an essential tool for any professional mechanic who wants to access as much information as possible. You will enjoy the bluetooth connection. This allows me to stand in front of the car and test components without being constrained by the cable, which has a limited length. In addition, a WLAN connection allows you to search for important information directly. Once plugged in, it runs at amazing speed, almost the fastest I've ever experienced. It goes without saying that time is money for technicians and car owners, hardly anything is more annoying than a slow scan. Auto VIN is one of the features that I really like. In just one step I can get diagnostic trouble codes for all systems. This saves me the hassle of going to each system and then figuring out what happened to each controller. Well, this diagnostic scanner will handle almost all vehicle systems. And its active test is amazing, allowing me to send commands to many systems/components, such as . without using the vehicle controls to check the system I/O status to ensure they are working properly. I have to say it does pretty much everything a $5,000 scanner does for half the price.

Pros
  • ECU CODING AND PROGRAMMING
Cons
  • too dumb
