Review on 🧶 ChiaoGoo 40 inch (102cm) Wooden Circular Knitting Needle in US Size 17 (12.75mm), Model 2040-17 by Shantel Griffin

I love my set of HiyaHiya sharp needles. But they only fit up to size US 15. I wanted to do a project with jumbo yarn and jumbo needles but didn't know what to buy. I risked a brand I've never tried before: ChiaoGoo. Normally I don't feel like using wooden or crochet hooks anymore. Mainly because they are usually not as smooth and the tips are not sharp enough like on my Hiya. I bought a set of US 35 ChiaoGoo knitting needles with a fixed 40 inch circumference. blown away Super jumbo yarn with big needles always creates a little more trouble if nothing else to navigate around and also to keep the yarn from twisting. The needles were smooth, luckily they weren't short, but 7 inches long (from the junction of the cord and the metal part of the needle to the point of the needle). The yarn doesn't stick at all, knitting needles are like clockwork. And one thing I didn't even know was possible that I adore? Thick/wide plastic cable! There is no problem twisting or wrestling to keep everything straight. If you haven't done a quilt-sized project before, you don't know how common strings (which are flimsy) can be a huge hassle, waste of time, and huge frustration. The cord alone makes me fall in love with her. In short: the needles are smooth, the needles themselves are an excellent length, the line is fantastic, thicker and doesn't try to twist (FYI the line is light because it's hollow inside and not a hard plastic) . I'm in the process of expanding my collection of large ChiagoGoo needles. Two of each size, one with 40" cord and one with 60" cord for needle sizes US 17, US 19, US 35, US 50.
