Review on 🚲 Neutral-Colored Garmin Edge 500 Cycling GPS Device by Tim Hodzic

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Biggest dollar hit in GPS today!

This GPS has many very good reviews. When the price dropped to $150, I decided to buy one to stop using my cellphone and draining its battery. I've used it several times and it worked perfectly except for the first flight. I don't know why but when I first used it it deviated 4.5 miles after driving over 35 miles. It has existed ever since. I like the fact that it's ANT+. I'm wearing a Garmin heart rate monitor and it connects with no action. Sweet. This little device seems to do everything I could possibly want, automatically uploading my rides to MapMyRide and Strava at the same time. I still have a lot to learn, but it was VERY convenient to set up and enter personal information. I also like that the program runs like clockwork. Remember that you need to set up and enter all your information before you ride/run with it for the first time. You'll also need to create an account at www.garminconnect.com, but installing it will get you there. It is very easy to use: 1. Turn on the device2. Wait for the satellite connection 3. Press "Start"4. Ride bike/run course 5. Press "Stop" when you finish riding/running6. Press and hold "Reset" for about 2 seconds to save the data.7. Connect to computer via USB, click Sync in Garmin Express.
