Exactly as described and compatible with 2012 Volvo S60 T5
Volvo uses a cartridge that fits in a holder instead of the usual metal can filter in the US where everything is replaced. It fits the car perfectly and includes a gasket for the filter cover. After tightening to specification, the cap did not leak. When it came time to replace it, this filter was intact. Based on oil testing I don't have excessive wear so the filter seems to be doing its job properly. Definitely better than going to the dealer for a filter and a lot cheaper if I change the oil myself!
