Review on πŸ’¦ The Ultimate CamelBak HydroBak Hydration Pack 50 oz: Stay Hydrated on-the-go! by Ruben Saunders

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great backpack for short bike rides.

I read all the reviews before buying and almost didn't. I took the risk simply because it was CamelBak and I'm glad I did. For any folks who have a leakage problem, it's as simple as screwing the cap on properly. Just take an extra second and make sure you're doing it right. Make sure it is sealed and has not become crooked. If you do that, it won't flow. I quickly turn it upside down to make sure nothing is coming out of the cap to make sure I put it on properly. You can also look at the arrows and make sure they match. I really like the new bite valve, much better than the old one. I will be purchasing this replacement valve for my larger packs. The only thing I don't care about is the bag, if they call it that. It would be great, maybe a key and your driver's license. But leave your phone at home. I have an old Moto E that I use for cycling and it barely fits in this bag. It takes some brute force to get it out of your pocket, and this phone is small. Forget about new phones in this bag. However, for my purpose of using it for DH mountain biking, it works great. I can climb elevators without pushing myself forward and hold enough water for hours. Then I can deliver on the mountain.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
