I used this unconventionally and installed it on my 2016 GMC 2500 Denali with an aftermarket grille that I bought on Ebay. It's a bit small but overall great. Good quality badge, metal and the finish appears to be powder coated. Assembling this grill was very easy using only racks and nuts with fender washers. My only complaint is that they didn't supply stainless steel hardware, so I went to the hardware store and bought replacements. Overall very happy and hope it helps others.
