I rarely give negative feedback on anything! I want to start by saying that the design and material of this product is really good! We wanted to buy a really good kitchen shears. The day she arrived we tried to cut open the chicken for roasting and I couldn't even get through the chicken breast so I asked my daughter to bring one of her elementary school scissors with rounded ends and she cut right through the chicken. . For real? If you really must have a pair of these just plan on sharpening them before using them, if not just stick with a cheaper pair that aren't worth the money. Follow-up review: I wanted to go back and update my review. This is pretty amazing because I thought customer service was gone forever. Heirloom Culinary contacted me the day I posted my review and insisted on sending a replacement. WOW I had them in 2 days! They even called twice after I received them, but to this day I haven't had a chance to try their concoction. I just fried and the scissors cut right through the chicken. This company is just awesome! Thanks again!
