Review on A-Premium Tailgate Rear Hatch Lift Supports Shock Struts for Toyota Matrix 2003-2008: Premium Replacement at an Affordable Price by Philip Latham

I bought these springs to replace worn lift assist gas springs on my 2005 Toyota Matrix. The description says they are for my rear window, not my tailgate. These supports were strong enough for a window. I couldn't close it without breaking the tabs they attach to. They were also too weak for the trunk hatch. Do not buy these for 2003-2008 Toyota Matrix, although Amazon says they will fit, they will not WORK.
