I bought shampoo and balm at the same time. I take it with me on business trips and hikes and am very satisfied with the ease of use. It is compact and easy to carry if you have a suitcase. I've tried other brands of shampoo bars and conditioners and I just didn't like how they either removed all the oils from my hair or left too much oil and made me greasy. I love this particular plastic free shampoo and conditioner way more than the others and have already bought a replacement. This particular scent is light. It smells intense when you smell the bar, but it's too light on the head for most people. I don't notice it, but my family says it smells nice when they're around me. I use it every three days and have had the strip since May 21st. Today is the day I'm checking this - July 23rd, a little over 2 months later and I still have what's left of the photos. This is the case with an application every three to four days. Judging by the photo, the shampoo ends faster than the conditioner. Maybe I just don't use much conditioner, but I seem to use it a lot and I'll tell you why: I have very, very long hair (25 inches long to be exact - I just measured for you readers, lol, please ) and apply shampoo only to the scalp and apply conditioner only to it. actually everything else. That means you'll end up buying more shampoo than conditioner in the long run, even though the shampoo is a bigger bar than the conditioner. I have included a photo for reference on the packaging they come in. In terms of performance, the shampoo leaves your hair very clean. The conditioner nourishes but since my hair is dry I have to add oil. I guess it can't be the conditioner because one day I applied it too close to my scalp and the second day it got greasy. So it definitely moisturizes! I recommend this brand and these two products to anyone who wants to get rid of plastic and help the Australian Zoo. Do good for you and our planet.
