Not strong enough construction

I was impressed at the construction when first arrived. However I'm quite disappointed now. I thought this toy would last for some time but it's been only One week and our 6 month old pointer/lab mix has successfully chewed through/eaten 1/2 the tail, shredding it, pulled out the stuffing and now has gotten to the squeaker (blue bubble), not to mention chewing apart the jagged material &#34;scales&#34; on its back. It's going to have to be thrown away soon as I do not want her to keep ingesting the shredded material/threading. I don't know if it's that she's s puppy or a bigger/stronger breed, but she went through this toy too quickly. Next time I'll have to do a bit more research to see what toys actually will hold up.
