The kettle is huge but the large surface area above the flame means water can be heated very quickly
The metal is not too heavy, more like sheet steel. The whistle is weak, steam comes out from under the lid. In general I like it. The shape is nice, not at all like the chunky German teapots, although of course they could be more efficient. It's easy to clean. The spout is in such a place that the kettle has to be completely turned over to empty it. And god, he's big. But even here the water is shallow and spreads over a large area, warming up very quickly. Not bad, in general.
