I was looking for a new plotter similar to the one I have been using in my private pilot training for the past 30 years and this one fits the bill. Once a little scratched and a little dirty, it looks the same as the original and I can use it very well. I also have a roughly half-size chartplotter that I use more often now, but due to transition training in a helicopter, I wanted a full-size chartplotter. It works well and is inexpensive.
