The first device I encountered was the crooked scanning of pages. I would have to go into crop utility and straighten each side by 0.6 or -0.6 depending on if it was front or back. I contacted Epson and they determined it was a hardware failure and needed to be replaced. They sent me a repaired unit with the exact same problem, only 0.4 or -0.4. Also, it's bullshit that you buy a brand new unit and when you have problems they send you a used unit that was also shipped because it had problems and they call it refurbished. I paid for a new block, I should get a new block as a replacement. It's not my fault you make a poor quality product. I have thousands of pages to scan and I think I'll just have to eat that money and buy another brand.
