I bought this for my stepdaughter. She's in art school and I think everyone usually buys her art supplies. This is of course common; Pencils, pads, paints, etc. I try to buy her drawing supplies because it's her passion, but some other things that others might not have thought of. She has a passion for drawing comics and anime and it seems to fit well into this category of art. Before buying I asked her if she had a light box but she didn't have one. This kit includes everything you need to create a brochure, so you don't need to purchase any additional materials. The box itself has a nice presentation. Art students have a lot of tough and serious projects, so it should be fun and nothing to fret about. By her own admission, she liked to paint whenever she could.
