I use mine under my sheets. For comfort. It stays in place for a few days some times a week I dont even know its there. Clorox has a pee stain remover fantastic. We with prostate issues or radiation treatment wear our pee.(leakage) so a little stain on my top sheet bothers me not. But to not damage the mattress priceless. The things one must endure and live with after prostate treatment. Night time I use microfiber towels they are great. dry fast absorb reusable. daytime too. Oh i mark the matterss on the sides so i can easily reinstall the pad in the right spot. No pad smell at all.
