Not quite sure if it would fit as it isn't listed for my 1996 F150 4.9L but the alternator bracket does mine Motors is designed to work with both the low and high amperage alternators on offer. My truck came with a lower amp alternator where one of the bolt lugs on the alternator is at an angle as opposed to this one which is pointing straight down. Fits perfectly, even the wiring. Works great since installation! Bought to replace my stock low amp alternator which was having many intermittent problems with two 100w headlights I added to a bumper for dark back roads here in Oklahoma. The stem was sometimes able to hold a voltage of around 13.8v when cold, but after a few minutes had trouble keeping the charging voltage well above the battery voltage (charging 13.0-13.2v). With this generator, it maintains a stable charging voltage of 13.8-14.2 V, even with all electrical consumers and at maximum settings! no more sudden voltage drops
