I've searched everywhere for a fluorescent light that would be perfect for my leopard gecko. A lot of people have had issues with durability, lamp brightness, energy used etc and this has put me off almost every lamp I've seen. Then my friend showed me the theses and they have been working since I got them. Since I have a leopard gecko, he doesn't use it for sunbathing, but to heat his cave. I also like the idea of a set so I can wait quite a while before I need to buy more. I didn't handle it like most people probably do. My friend told me not to touch the bulb at all when touching it as the oil on my skin would affect the quality of the bulb. So I just dabbed them with a paper towel and had no problems.
