Some subjective reviews on this product but I'll start with the objective first. These are quality gloves. They're made of wool, so they're a bit thick. I've been wearing them for a few weeks and haven't noticed any tears, no tears, no strands sticking out, nothing. They're tinted on the lighter side so they look a bit dusty, but I work in a dusty environment so that's to be expected. If you need something more subtle or care about looks, you can look elsewhere or buy darker gloves. Now for a subjective assessment. People seem to have issues with the warmth and feel of this glove. They are warm - very warm in fact. If warmth is important to you, I can't imagine going anywhere else. I work indoors but in a cooler environment and sometimes these gloves are too warm. But if you've been outside longer and it's been cold enough that you need gloves but wish your fingertips were free, I can assure you that your hands will be very warm in them. As for the feel - yes, they can be "prickly". They're made of wool, that's to be expected. It doesn't bother me at first, but after a few hours of wearing I have to take them off for a while. All in all, if warmth is your number one priority, these quality gloves are for you.
