When this set of mirrors arrived it wasn't long before they were found to be unusable. While the arms of this mirror are made of aluminum, the ends of the mirror body are made of plastic. There are two ball joints on each mirror arm that allow you to orient the mirror the way you want it. All ball joints on the two mirror assemblies were so tight that aiming was impossible. Only one of the ball joints was greased. Where the mirror housing attaches to the arm is one of the ball joints. The screws that attach the mirror body to the bracket screw into the threaded inserts on the mirror body. The problem is that the threaded inserts are not securely fastened and when the screws are loosened they will not tighten and the mirror housing will hang sluggishly. I don't understand how anyone can even use these mirrors.
