Review on 🎁 Father's Day Special: West Bay DIY Weather Stripping Bottom Rubber - Universal Garage Door Threshold Seal (20 Feet) [Sealant not Included] by Saul Rivera

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The product is on the top shelf, but the height of 0.5 inches may be too short

20ft section came as a set. I had to cut 1 foot off the inside end. Rubber accumulators caused some twist. 6 inch snips to cut off. I laid out the entire 20 foot strip loaded with weights for over 2 weeks and couldn't keep those outer pieces. But it only took me 18 feet to work so I had to cut a lot of extra pieces and redo the holes on each end. I put the witch concrete corners back to the garage and every heavy rain brings water into the garage to avoid getting glue/sealant being used too soon, I laid out the entire 18 foot piece (NOT ADHESIVE) and slid the sill under the closed door. It rained three times, once heavily and twice drizzle. During the heavy rain, the water seeped through, but it turned out much better than before. I'm afraid I need a 3/4" high threshold or even 1" so I will continue to monitor the threshold during possible heavy rains. If the amount is small I apply glue/sealant AND caulk the outside edge of the 18" sill. I plan to use liquid nails for the main floor on their sides of the part and DAP sealant for the outside edge. If the amount is large, I buy a more expensive 18" piece with a higher height. The problem with this is how to determine the height required to prevent water ingress.
