Not the best choice if your garage door is visible or overall appearance is important to you

Can be used in a barn but will look terrible in your garage. I tried this to seal a newly installed vinyl garage door. Even with the help of another person, it was impossible to install this flush finisher bracket around the garage. It was wavy and trimmed away to make it less noticeable. Add in the size of the nails and how they looked and overall it was very unattractive on the garage door which is at the front of the house. I replaced the nails and tried 1" white wood screws but it didn't get any better. On the plus side, it made a pretty decent seal with the garage door with some parts that fitted flush. It can be passable if you use it on a shed or garage door that isn't visible/don't care what it looks like. I ended up going to the local hardware store and bought some 7FT PFC garage siding and PVC capped screws. The PVC strips were $6.50 each and I had to buy 5 to cover a standard 7 x 16 ft 2 garage door. Add an additional $10 for PVC screws with caps and a drill and the whole project cost just over $40. It looks 100x better in my opinion, much less noticeable, you don't have any noticeable screws/nails sticking out, it offers a better seal, it's much quicker to install and it will be much easier to replace in the future if necessary. I highly recommend wrapping this product with a PVC finish. temporary use in a shed or other farm building. Spend the extra $20 and get PVC trim and PVC screws/caps. You'll be a lot happier with the end result, and it's a lot easier to install if you do it yourself.
