Review on 🔧 Fully Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator for Ford Mustang 5.0 and 302/351 EFI Applications - BBK Performance 1706 - CNC Machined Billet Aluminum - Direct Fit by Joshua Johnson

I've been using this in my 1993 Mustang since 2010. I have custom fuel rails so I can't tell if it should be fitted to a stock fuel rail. It regulates the fuel pressure as it should. , it's easy to adjust and the optional side-mounted fuel pressure gauge is perfect. I was able to go from 40 to 65 on my system. I just bought a second one this week. Read why below. At 1000 km the first one failed. Gas began to seep through the vacuum port. I took it apart and found that the membrane, which was made up of two thin layers of rubber, was starting to leak. I replaced the entire controller with a second block. I took it apart for comparison and found that BBK had changed their design to a thicker diaphragm. Time will tell if it gets better. I checked the BBK website and they offer a recovery kit for around 50.00. All in all I think three stars is generous. Updated 4/29/2019. The new designer set still works well. So far satisfied with the product.
