I bought two of these to test. Look what they did! You have three different levels of brightness in two color settings, for a total of six settings. The outer buttons toggle the brightness in two colors and the middle button is on/off. Works well once you get the hang of it, although it would be nice if you could easily tell which external button is which color. The brightest white setting isn't as bright as my old lamps, but they were too bright - too blinding. Perhaps that's a downside - perhaps not the best light over a sink or mirror, but probably adequate. I hope they become available again so I can buy more.
