Review on πŸ” Stanley 5 Gallon 4 Horsepower Stainless Steel Tank Wet/Dry Vacuum - Silver, Yellow, and Black - SL18130 by Jose Mcdaniel

Nice little shop vacuum

Lots of suction, I bought it to use with a Neutripure backpack as a portable shop vacuum. Although the hose is small in diameter I was surprised at what it would pull through, drying small leaves etc. Some reviews on this item seem confusing, this is a wet/dry vacuum designed for outdoor or garage use / workshop was developed. , not a Dyson/Miele/HEPA.1 household vacuum cleaner. It comes with a coarse foam filter mounted on top which will require removing screws etc if you need to get to it. 2. It also comes with 2 other filters: cloth for normal use and foam for wet use. In the box, they stuck the styrofoam into the fabric, probably just for fun. They mount over the plastic filter frame that protrudes from the top of the machine. Each of these filters is held in place with inelastic plastic tape if it breaks. I think you use blue tape or 8 inch tubing tape. Use it with either a cloth filter (dry material) or a foam filter (wet material) and the contents collect in a metal container and you empty it when it's full OR you put a paper filter on the inlet nozzle inside the canister that wraps around the bin and is held on top by the filter assembly when you snap it back. When it's full you'll probably throw it away and then find out why you bought a shop vacuum when you really need a home vacuum. 4. It comes without manual or instructions, so you need to use Revain etc to get this information. thus.6. It comes with a base but the base is easy to remove, it is held in place by 4 small spring bits and can be unscrewed with a 7 head screwdriver. The hose and nozzles are cheap plastic, the only thing that holds "right" together. Here the hose is screwed onto the canister. All other parts stick together but they stay together well and if not you can always use blue tape. In addition, you turn it on, use it, and then empty it. If the fabric filter clogs while using it for drywall dust etc, you should flush it like you would an canister filter for heavier vacuums, ie buy it for what it is, not what it isn't.
