The length is excellent. Investments were not required. You already are. Sold as a replacement hose for those who already have a vacuum cleaner. They had to take the plastic from which the nozzles were made and make a thicker, stronger tube out of it. The hose is very thin and weak. Why does every company want to sell quantity and not quality? By that I mean they think I need to see a bunch of items grouped together to feel like I'm getting something. I'm looking for a quality product but I'm getting a bunch of cheap junk. How disappointing Craftsman has become over the years. I started buying all my tools from Craftsman in 1980. Now I buy other brands of tools because Craftsman doesn't care about quality anymore. Enough said.
