These don't work! on carpets, upholstery and protectors
I ordered these because we have a very slippery carpet in the bathroom. According to the description, they can be washed and removed. They didn't say they were disposable. We put them on the carpet following the "floor" mark, no slipping. Then, with great difficulty, we removed the carpet from the floor. No matter what we did, the pads were not attached to the floor or carpet. They only work if you never want to mop the floor again.
