This little thing saved my ass. I've been in China for almost two months and bought this as a backup. I have another that is more expensive and has worked well for me on previous trips and has relied heavily on it. Unfortunately it didn't work anymore. He blew some kind of fuse in my hotel room. Luckily I have THAT. This adapter saved my ass! I connected it to an extension cord I brought from the States, which allowed me to charge my laptop, tablet, and cell phone. I couldn't buy another while I was there so this really saved the day! It's super easy, very affordable, and works great in China
