knew it was going to be a cheap CD but decided to give it a try anyway. Always made some weird noises but worked for a while. Just copied a new CD with no problems, wanted to put in another brand new CD and it took it but kept spinning and trying to read it. I restarted my computer hoping this would help and it kept trying to read the restart as power was still going to it. Disconnected and reconnected the same. So I just took it apart, really cheap plastic on top and warped sheet metal on the bottom. 4 very small screws and luckily was able to pull the drive out without damaging it. When I turned the disc over and looked at the bottom label, it turned out that it was produced in 2006. There was dust in there too. So it's not a "new" disc. Overall not recommended.
