I have been working professionally in this country for over 30 years. This is just another example of tolerance issues when manufacturing parts abroad. I needed a T-45 with a protective cavity, specifically for an application where I was being paid to create a tamper-resistant case to protect life. Stainless Steel Screws 3/8"-16 TPI x 3" have been manufactured to the highest standards from medical grade stainless steel. When quality bolts are made in America, the tightening tool is undoubtedly dry installed during the production process so as not to waste money and materials. Can you explain to me why this set, which is clearly marked with a Torx T-45 screwdriver, does not fit the tried and true Torx T45 socket? Luckily I had an American made kit that fit just right. Thank you for once again wasting my time and money on poor craftsmanship.
