Review on OGIO Renegade Large Black Pindot by Jason Winkfield

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great bag for travel and work for everyday use

I bought a backpack to replace my 10 year old Ogio bag which finally paid its last debt and the stitching near the handle was starting to close to fail. I probably could have tried to fix it but got a good price for it so I pulled the trigger. This bag is my daily companion and also my "personal item" when I fly to work - 10-12 times a year. I've lugged a bag through airports for hours (delays are inevitable), and thanks to the sternum strap and padded shoulder straps, I survived the ordeal just as well. The bag also fits perfectly under the seat on small regional jets which is a HUGE plus. I have a photo of my "usual" stuff I take with me - usually a Bose headphone case and souvenirs for my wife and kids on the way back. I've never had any storage issues, the main compartment expands really well and the additional side pockets make it easy to access everything. Also my daily driver which includes regular commutes to and from work by motorbike. Again, the comfort is great, the bag sits very snugly on your back, even on the freeway where the speeds are, shall we say, pretty high. Withstands severe wind, rain and road debris - looks almost as good as the day I bought it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Damaged
