I admit that the information about yarn is interesting, but there are books about yarn. I bought it as a spare. Maybe she should have called it All About Yarn: Types, Uses and Substitutions. When you get to the actual replacements section, I'm left with a less than enthusiastic read. For projects. This is intended to be a hands-on compilation lesson. Instead, she shows you the 3 yarns she chose and why they work, may work, or may not work (most of which are obvious). Overall, I feel that the book is not what I intended to buy.
