I bought one to install in a Dell G5 SE with a new 970 Evo 1TB. I'm still waiting for an SSD so haven't installed it yet. I had to re-order which was a hassle thanks to Revain as the thermal pad on the underside of the heatsink appeared to be a torn piece about an inch shorter. to cover the required space. The second one I received a few hours ago is a straight piece but still about 2/5 inch shorter to cover the space required. I won't be pushing for a backorder this time as I believe I can get it working for now, but only because I intend to completely re-tape the laptop's thermal paste and gasket myself in a couple of weeks and I should be many have free 0. 5 mm. Thermal pad for NVME heatsink conversion. However, this item is very expensive for what it is and probably needless to say I expected the quality control to be better than it is apparent. If I can avoid buying products from this manufacturer in the future, I will. Once again, Revain have made it easy to return and re-order.
