Stops working after 5 months
This thermostat never kept the water temperature right. After five months of use, it almost completely stopped working. The temperature dial switch is crap. I made sure I wasn't between temperature settings as the product literature warns. I recently turned the thermostat up to 91 degrees, left it on for two days, and my tank only got to 76 degrees. I replaced it with a cheap PetSmart Top Fin Heater and my tank now holds a constant 82ยฐ. Don't waste money on it. The thermostat is terrible.
