This product is good for my small turtle tank Stinkpot. I have it under the turtle tank itself. It keeps my baby's water at a consistently warm temperature. The downside is that the temperature dial on the power cord doesn't give you any information. That means you have to guess what temperature it's set to. However, I twisted the knob either way and the digital thermometer showed no temperature change at all. So rather a disappointment. But other than that it works great for the price I paid, can't complain.
