Not the best quality Faucet O Rings

I ordered these to repair a valve cartridge for a kitchen faucet. However, when I tried to fit the o-rings to the cartridge, most of the size I needed turned out to be dry and brittle. They broke the moment I tried to attach the part. I would have gone for a lower seat but I was able to make repairs so I ordered this kit to start with.
