Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Upgrade Your Rear Axle with the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System by Justin Woolley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good concept - poor quality control

I was excited to get and install these Timbren fenders on my 2019 f150. The Revain box was in good condition when I received it, but the timbre box inside was damaged and some things fell out. After examining all the details, I found that everything was in place and nothing was damaged. But what I did find was a bit of rust (mostly on the top brackets where the nuts are welded from the inside). I decided to take all the details and repaint. Especially 3-4 coats on bare steel. This delayed installation for a couple of days until the paint dried. When I installed them (in the back driveway) I struggled to get the nylon locknuts onto the U-bolts. After removing the bracket from the truck and taking a closer look at the threads of the U-bolts and locknuts. I found that the locknuts have fine threads and the U-bolts have round threads. This caused another delay as I had to go to a nut/local ass to get the correct locknuts. I had to trace the bolt's tracks with a set of dies to clear the small tread. After repainting all the steel parts and purchasing the correct hardware, I was able to complete the installation. I gave 2 stars for poor packaging and poor quality control.
