I used to play around with DDwrt routers and other access points in our shop because I like tinkering, but at some point in life you just need something to work well. They were very easy to use and hassle free. I just run the controller from my main PC and if I have any client or bandwidth issues or anything I want to tweak, I just turn it on and I'm done. If you need to expand, no problem, plug in another one, click accept and you're done. I will never go back to my old DDwrt methods =) Granite, DDwrt still works in some of my places but I just disabled the wireless radios on my routers and am using them to work with WiFi.
