THANK YOU!: Power & Hand Tools

I bought a reverse osmosis system for my kitchen sink and needed to drill a hole in my granite. The plumber refuses this because it could "crack". So I called several contractors. The cheapest was $125, another wanted $400 and another said he couldn't guarantee when he would even get home. Well, sorrow! So I went to YouTube and the videos made it easy enough. That's when I decided I could do it myself and bought a Drilax drill and saw guide together because it made sense. When they arrived I was a little excited until I pulled out my drill and realized I didn't even know how to put a drill on it (bought a drill last year and never used it). I put everything on the table and left. A week later, on the morning of the plumber's arrival, I swallowed my fear, watched YouTube how to put a drill on a drill, stood on a chair and started drilling. Thank goodness for the saw guide, otherwise this piece would be dancing across my countertop! An hour later (because the video said to walk slowly) I've drilled the perfect hole and I'm dancing happily. Saved a piece of granite as a souvenir. Thank you Drelaks!
