Review on Camco 35Ft Premium Drinking Water by Timothy Gonzalez

I bought several of these hoses for use in the stable. I noticed a terrible plastic smell from water coming from hoses exposed to the sun, so I figured evaluating a drinking water hose with UV stabilizers would make this hose last longer. These hoses are not in the water. Sunshine all day as the sun moves across the sky leaving it in the shade for half a day. Since last year, after 3 years of use, these hoses have become badly discolored and are giving the water the same unpleasant plastic smell as a normal garden hose. Attached is a photo of what they look like now. I'll replace them with something else. At the same time, in 2014, I bought a competing drinking water hose that Revain no longer sells. Such a shame! GatorHyde looks brand new after being in the sun every day of the year for 4 years. If you rarely use it and keep the hose in a dark cupboard for most of its life, you will love this hose. Or if you plan on throwing things away every few years, that's fine. I have rubber hoses that are over 20 years old. Not a fan of making more trash.
