Starting and living with a toddler?

Then this is definitely the telescope you should take a look at. At the moment I'm mainly reviewing the setup and save features since I just got it and I'm still learning all of its features. First off, installation was easy. So far I love the tripod. It folds and installs easily and is stabilized by an easily removable tray. (If you normally use your patio or balcony for stargazing, this shouldn't pose a stability problem if it's firmly attached.) A real telescope has a pretty clever way of attaching it to a tripod to hold it securely in place during use , but it is easy to remove and store neatly in the soft pouch when not in use. So if you live in a small space and have little access to wide open spaces but still have a good view of space from your space, this is a good place to start. Telescope so far: Probably less than an hour of fidgeting and re-reading the instructions/information, assuming I have a good view of the balloon from a few miles or so. That's great for me because I don't live where there's much to see on earth, big enough to be seen from a mile away, and that's really what you need to get this thing on to focus on daylight on first use. A stop sign would be great because it's red, but the yellow/orange ball worked well. (Something bright makes it easier to focus on something very blurry in the distance. The green leaves on tall trees aren't great.) Tip: Don't try to focus on anything less than 0.5 miles (0.804672 km) away. (for example in your house), otherwise you will think you have a defective one. Tip: It's best not to buy it the day before an amazing celestial event unless you really know your way around telescopes and study great people. Sure, you can see things far away, but it's not instantaneous or point-and-shoot (unless see above). Now to check the moon at night. First things (easily visible) things first! (Updates as soon as I'm familiar with it.) 5-22-21 Update: Saw Jupiter and 3 moons! No definition of Jupiter (yet), but it was exciting nonetheless.
